Thing to Know About the Indigo Web Check-In Option

The Indigo web check in option is one of the best features of the airline. With this option, all domestic travel passengers can check into the flight through the web. Additionally, they can select their desired seat and they will get the allotment depending upon the availability.

They can also print the boarding pass from the web. Since it is a privilege, which the airline offers to the passengers, there are certain conditions and the passengers have to comply with them.

In case the passengers have only the hand carry baggage, they can directly go to the security counter. They will have to report at the check-in counter 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. The boarding gate closes 30 minutes before the departure of the flight.

In case the passengers have baggage to check-in, they can drop off the baggage at the baggage drop counter and proceed to the boarding gate. The special drop-off counter is available only in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Kochi. In other cities, the passengers will have to stand in the regular queues for baggage check-in.

There are limitations to the web check-in options too. People travelling with infants will have to undergo a normal check-in at the airport. Similarly, passengers with a medical history and unaccompanied minors cannot do a web check-in.

In case the passengers want to cancel the Indigo web check in option, they can do so by calling the customer care number at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure. The airline does not allow the web check-in facility for connecting flights.
